“Making Umeboshi with Apricots”!
Umeboshi—traditional Japanese pickled plums—are well-known for their unique sour and salty flavor as well as their health benefits. They have been enjoyed in Japan for centuries as a natural remedy and a staple in Japanese cuisine, often served with rice or in porridge.
In this workshop, you will learn how to make a delicious and authentic-tasting version of umeboshi using apricots, a fruit that is easier to find here in Belgium.
This special recipe was developed by Noriko during her years living abroad, capturing the true essence of umeboshi’s flavor and aroma.
